Benefit Concert Gilbertville VFW

The Benefit Concert wasn't as huge as of a success as we had hoped for. Many people couldn't find the Gilbertville VFW and we had a reletively small croud. WE MADE $50 off of it and will be having an nother one within a month. The bands absolutely rocked and thanks to all whom attended.

WE GOT OUR FIRST TWO HORSES

Jimmini

A seven year old gelding. He was an unexpected foal out of a mare bought from the auction. He sat in a feild for seven years and was finally dumped to be brought to auction where he would have most likely ended up at slaughter because he is seven and has never been broken. He is a real sweet heart and we are not sure of his breed but we are assuming that he has thoroughbred in him because he is so lengthy. He will not be put up for adoption until he is completely trained and safe. To sponsor Jimmini please contact us.

Luna

An appy mare between 14 and 15 hands high. slightly underweight. We are unsure of her age. She has been broke to ride but still needs some work. She was baught from some one who was going to send her to auction because they didn't want to feed her any more. She will be ready for adoption once we have worked with her a little.

Come and see these guys!

Benefit Concert in North Brookfield a success
Mood:  happy
Topic: Fundraisers

On Friday February 23rd, we held a Benefit Concert for the project. The concert was held at the North Brookfield VFW and was a great success. We raised $400 on the dot and now the project has a total of $550. A huge thanks to all of the performers (who were great) and to all who attended. We will hold another concert in a month possibly in Barre. We will keep you updated with any new information about it! Thankyou
